VinFast India Debut
In partnership with RoadGrip, myTVS, Global Assure, VinFast opened its first showroom in Surat, Gujrat India. Planning to open showrooms in 27 cities by end of 2025. VinFast production / assembly plant to inaugurate on 31st July 2025 in Thoothukudi, Chennai, India. VinFast has big plans in Indian market. In order to bypass the Indian tariff on foreign cars export, VinFast has planned to start production in India, which will benefit the customer by offering high class vehicle with luxury at affordable prices (less tariff). VinFast models VF6 & VF7 are competing with exiting models from the manufacturers like Mahindra, BYD and Tesla. VinFast targeting around 3500 units in the first year.

Prebooking are open for VF6 & VF7 with pre-booking fee Rs.21,000 (refundable). The VinFast VF6 price in India has not yet been formally revealed. However, seeing the market rates in Vietnam for similar models, market experts anticipating the following price range:
- VF6 – Rs. 25 Lakh to 3.0 Lakh
- VF7 – Rs. 30 Lakh to 35 Lakh.
